Let’s get down to business. Let us here at .com ask you a question: have you ever felt like you reached your breaking point? Well, it’s no different here in Chaotic Wrestling, as for the first time, this year’s Breaking Point emanates from the site of Cold Fury 16: Unstoppable, Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA with an 8 PM bell time on Friday night, October 27!
Our last live event in Woburn, MA back on October 6 left us with more questions than answers, until General Manager Johnny Vegas was able to start filling in the blanks, starting with the Heavyweight Championship. After two pairs of shoulders on the canvas and a dazed, but executed three-count, nothing was settled between “The Kingpin” Brian Milonas and current titleholder “The Greek Freak” Elia Markopoulos in their championship bout. The GM made the championship rematch official for Breaking Point, until Markopoulos made it a Table Match, Vegas agreed, and the match was made…
…Pin falls don’t count. Throw submissions out the window. Count outs and disqualifications? Forget about it. The rules are simple: drive your opponent successfully through a table and leave Breaking Point as champion.
It sounds easier said than done. Well, it is. The months of verbal barbs and physical attacks between Milonas and Markopoulos will come to an end in Haverhill. A win for Brian Milonas would make him the first four-time Heavyweight Champion in company history, while a victory for the ten-year veteran Elia Markopoulos would bring him ever so closer to top five of the longest reigns in Chaotic Wrestling history.
However, the Heavyweight Championship isn’t the only championship on the line at Breaking Point, as Josh Briggs will defend his coveted New England Championship against Maxwell Jacob Friedman!
Both men were in action on October 6 in Woburn, as MJF defeated “The Man of Steel” Mike Verna while Josh Briggs successfully retained his New England Championship against former Killanova, Inc. squad-mate “Top Talent” Christian Casanova. Our cameras were on hand when MJF was departing the Woburn Elks and maybe ran his mouth just a tad too much when he ran into the New England Champion…
…Josh Briggs: chances are that he doesn’t like you; he certainly doesn’t like MJF, but he sure likes being a champion. Maxwell Jacob Friedman: he says that he’s better than you…and we know it. It’s “put up or shut up” as two of the industry’s young guns collide with the New England Championship on the line.
With the unpredictability of this year’s Breaking Point, the landscape of Chaotic Wrestling could change as 2017 winds down with the possibility of one, or perhaps, two new champions crowned – it all takes place at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA on Friday night, October 27 with an 8 PM bell time as Chaotic Wrestling presents Breaking Point!
