"The Power of Negative Thinking" by Sean Gorman

06/09/09

A wise man named Mr. Loaf once remarked, "Two out of three ain't bad."

And so it was for The Empire at Chaotic Wrestling's BREAKING POINT.

Scott Reed finally re-claimed what was rightfully his by capturing the New England title in a hard fought Ladder Match with Demon Ortiz. Ortiz put up a fight worthy of recognition, but in a stroke of genius on Reed's part, he attacked Tony Omega, stole his handcuffs and secured Ortiz to the ropes thereby securing the New England title as well.

I wish I could say that this crafty tactic was my idea, but it was indeed Mr. Reed's and this proves why he is a capable competitor who is quite worthy of the belt that is now strapped around his waist.

BREAKING POINT, however, was not without one small setback for The Empire.

Sledge came up short in his bid to win the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Title against the one-man party known as Chase Del Monte.

Because of this, I have sent to Sledge to an undisclosed location to retrain, refocus, and regroup. At this juncture, it is uncertain if he'll return, but if he does, the fans of Chaotic Wrestling will see a man hell bent on revenge. I assure you of that.

And finally, the real story of Brian Fury and Mikaze can be told...

Several months back, I approached both Fury and Mikaze to join the esteemed Empire. I did so separately and in strict secrecy. Neither man knew I was courting the other. This was all done by deliberate design and couldn't have unfolded more perfectly.

However, it was NOT Brian Fury who turned down my offer, it was that little puke, Mikaze. It was his selfishness that lead to the demise of Chaotic Wrestling's most beloved tag team and the subsequent loss of their titles.

Let me assure everyone, Mr. Fury has done the right thing for himself and has done so in the best interests of his future earnings. Mikaze was riding on Fury's coattails and prohibiting him from furthering his career. Fury now understands this and under my tutelage coupled with the partnership of The Empire, he will become unstoppable.

One loss.

Two gains.

The Empire emerges victorious...

Again.
